Our Sevas

Sevas at Sri Shirdi Sai Temple, Gownipally

At the Sri Shirdi Sai Temple, we offer a variety of Sevas (spiritual services) that allow devotees to engage in acts of devotion and receive the blessings of the divine. Participating in Sevas is a beautiful way to express your love and reverence for the deities, as well as to support the temple's activities and its mission.

Types of Sevas Available:

Abhishekam Seva :

Offering abhishekam (ritualistic bathing) to the idols of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, Sri Ganeshji, Sri Dattatreya Swamy, and Radha Krishna. This sacred ritual is performed with love and devotion to purify and bless the idols.

Archana Seva :

Devotees can offer Archana (special prayers) to their chosen deity during the daily poojas. This seva can be performed individually or in groups, bringing blessings and positive energy to the family.

Deepa Aradhana Seva :

The lighting of oil lamps or deepas is a cherished tradition, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the welcoming of divine light. Devotees can participate in this seva to enhance the spiritual atmosphere of the temple.

Prasadam Seva :

Offering and distributing prasadam (sacred food offerings) to the devotees after the rituals. This seva is a way to share the divine blessings with others and is an essential part of temple activities.

Temple Maintenance Seva :

Volunteers can offer their time and efforts in maintaining the temple’s cleanliness, decoration, and overall upkeep. This seva is a way to serve the temple community and contribute to creating a peaceful environment for all.

Sponsorship of Poojas and Festivals :

Devotees can sponsor poojas or special events such as the Sai Baba Jayanti, Ganesh Chaturthi, or other festivals. Sponsorship of these occasions helps in organizing grand celebrations and ensures the continuity of our spiritual traditions.

Community Service Seva :

In addition to the temple-specific sevas, we also encourage community-focused services, such as organizing food distribution (Annadhanam), charitable activities, and supporting those in need.

How to Participate:

If you wish to take part in any of these Sevas, please contact the temple administration. You can either sponsor a specific seva or volunteer your time and resources to contribute to the ongoing spiritual activities. Each seva offers a unique opportunity to deepen your connection with the divine and be a part of our vibrant temple community.

By engaging in Sevas, devotees not only receive divine blessings but also strengthen the temple’s mission of service, devotion, and spiritual growth for all.
